Max First appeared as an onscreen cameraman in the BBC2 Series Operation Snow Tiger with Liz Bonin. He joined a team of amazing Russian conservationists searching for 3 orphaned Siberian Tiger cubs. They are so rare that these three make up 1% of the worlds population. After 10 days of searching they eventually caught up with the last cub so he could join his brother and sister at the rehabilitation centre and one day return to the wild. Max was nominated as Best New Onscreen Talent in the 2014 RTS West awards for his work on Tigers.
Since then Max has co-presented several series for BBC1. Natures Miracle Orphans with Ellie Harrison (2 x 1hr BBC1) based in a rescue centre in Costa Rica. Natures Epic Journeys - An animal migration series with Liz Bonin following elephants, Caribou and zebra (3 x 1hrs BBC1).
